Suprabha Sharma
It all begins with an idea. Suprabha Sharma, one of the co-heads of the Sarvamangala Society in India and Nepal, has eighteen years of commitment and experience in service to underprivileged children and families. She has won multiple awards, including the President’s Award.

Suprabha from Bagmati, Nepal, has recently taken charge as the supervisor of the overall work of the Sarvamangala Society in Nepal.
Hima Bindu Rebelly
A trustee of the Sarvamangala family’s UK foundation, Hima Bindu Rebelly has supported the Sarvamangala Girls Empowerment Project from its inception. For many years, she managed a Nursery in the UK. She is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven educator with a solid commitment to the areas of learning and development. For many years, she managed a nursery in the UK. Her understanding of psychology and the complexity of emotions allows her to work in close partnership with parents to implement and manage effective parent-liaison programs. She has received numerous certifications and awards in the fields of learning and development, such as the Inspirational and Compassionate Performer Award. She was awarded the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) from Kingston University in 2010 by the Children’s Workforce Development Council-CWDC, UK. She also has experience as a supply teacher for children with special needs. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc).
Dikshya Chapagain
Dikshya is a Dentist from Itahari School of Medicine, Nepal. As a former member of the Rotary Club she was engaged in various service activities in different parts of Nepal. Presently, she runs her own Clinic and also extends voluntary services for people in need from the villages nearby her clinic.
Deepanjali Kapil Chettri
Deepanjali Kapil Chettri currently working as Assistant Manager, Student Welfare and Community Development at Medhavi Skills University, Bermiok West Sikkim. She’s been a part of various NGOs and has also served as a mentor in various women’s related projects. She completed her diploma and B.Tech in civil engineering from Lovely Professional University, Punjab, with a first division distinction. Deepanjali is a budding independent artist, music composer, lyricist, and singer. At Sarvamangala Society, she heads logistics and is part of the founding team. She helps coordinate processes and oversees the allocation of support resources to the Sarvamangala Girls in Sikkim and Nepal.
Shivani
A communications expert with a BA (Hons) in Media with Cultural Studies, Shivani is instrumental in helping with coordination in the UK and serving as a liaison for new supporters who have come on board to support Sarvamangala Girls. A mother of two, Shivani works with young children as a reading tutor.
Kathyayani
A passionate educator, Kathyayani is responsible for mentoring and monitoring the progress of the Sarvamangala Girls in South India, in particular in the region of Chennai. Having always been passionate about teaching, she then up-skilled herself with adequate qualifications and became an Educator. She teaches Economics , Commerce and Business studies in one of Chennai’s most prestigious schools. She has been associated with our Founder’s vision and organisation for many years, being a family member of our Founder. She is very spiritual and pious and believes in serving those in need. She sees education as a powerful tool to empower people and help them move from ignorance to the self-reliance of knowledge. As a Rotaract club member, she along with her students has helped government school students with stationery, fees, buying uniforms and books, in particular focusing on support to students belonging to the lower-income groups.
Prabitha
Dr. Prabitha is a Neuroscientist and Medical researcher. She holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering, a MSc in Biomedical Engineering, and a PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering. She is the scientific officer and program manager for bilateral cooperation at a leading government agency. Her research career has covered a broad interdisciplinary biomedical field ranging from nanotechnology, biosensors, biomaterials, implant surfaces and its characterisation, micro/nanofabrication, neuroscience, psychiatry, neurodegenerative diseases, gerontechnology, ambient assisted living, telehealth and rehabilitation. For our Sarvamangala Girls Empowerment Project, she helps with vision, direction and strategic development. She also directly mentors one of our Sarvamangala Girls who plans to have a medical career.
Ayu
Ayu identifies girls in Bali who require educational support. An expert in traditional therapeutic methods, Ayu advises Sarvamangala on the Girls Empowerment Project in Bali, Indonesia, and coordinates with the local mentors to ensure that the best possible medical care, nutrition and parental alignment is guaranteed.
Akshaya
Dr Akshaya is a medical doctor in the UK. She provides general advice for the Sarvamangala Girls in area of medical hygiene, general medical support and assistance, and referrals to local doctors where needed.
Ekta Ghale
A renowned Yoga teacher in the B.K.S. Iyengar system of Yoga, Ekta Ghale heads the Sarvamangala Girls Empowerment Project in Rishikesh and the wider state of Uttarakhand. She personally monitors and mentors 17 Sarvamangala Girls, ensuring that they receive the best possible support for their education and life.
Vidya G Iyer
Vidya heads the Sarvamangala family’s Girls Empowerment Project as managing director. She is a graduate in Commerce (B. Com), a Chartered Accountant (ACA), and an Information System Auditor (CISA). She worked in auditing and consulting firms for 13 years, gathering core experience in assurance audits, information system reviews, and process assurance across diverse industries, including manufacturing, retail, jewellery, and the service industry. She also has more than three years of experience independently managing the accounts department as a Finance Manager. She worked for PwC and KPMG for 6 years in the Information Risk Management team, mainly handling process and assurance projects, specifically conducting systems reviews. Prior to that, she worked in a medium-sized audit and consulting firm in Mumbai, India, for three years. This experience included assisting clients in formulating business plans and strategies and carrying out management audits, systems reviews, and financial audits. She further worked as a Finance Manager for Mr Butlers Group of Concerns, a reputed South Indian-based group in Kerala, with independent charge of the finance and accounts department. At Sarvamangala, Vidya ensures that processes and accounts are handled well, and information concerning the girls is properly recorded.
Tripura, Chöying Drolma
A trustee of the Sarvamangala family’s UK-based and Switzerland-based foundations, she assists with overseeing management and coordination processes. As a spiritual practitioner, she also uses the name Chöying Drolma, which means the Tara of the Space of Wisdom. She comes with 20 years of experience in the educational sector in Switzerland, where she heads a team of vocational education experts.
Ramakrishna
Dr. iur Elfriede Neuhold - Ramakrishna is a Doctor in Legal Studies. Being a legal expert, she is Sarvamangala's legal advisor and provides guidance on vision and direction. She was a manager in different corporations for about 15 years, first as head of legal office and as manager in procurement. Subsequently, she dealt with environmental management and sustainability in business context. After that she has been working at the University of Continuing Education Krems for ten years as a course director. Additionally, she was member of the curricula commission and of the senate of the university. Now she is building a new platform for sustainable development, focusing on education for sustainable development. Her advanced knowledge of sustainable ecosystems and development further provides an invaluable source of guidance to the Sarvamangala Girls Empowerment project.
Barsha Lamichhane
Barsha is a Researcher at Kwangwoon University, South Korea. Her research is in artificial intelligence with a speciality in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision. Her background is in electronic engineering, having completed a Bachelor's degree in electronic and communication engineering. She is engaged as a web developer in Otonomis Private Limited, Nepal.
Arthi
Arthi is a Chartered Accountant with corporate audit and risk advisory specialism having worked with several Big-Four audit and consulting firms over the last decade. She has recently moved away from a profit-oriented corporate world to the UK public sector. Her move was influenced by her desire to carve out more time and resources to help with the Sarvamangala Girls Empowerment project, which she is currently supporting with her professional expertise. She hails from Tamil Nadu in South India from a humble background, which is one of the root causes for her involvement in this project.
Lisa
Lisa is a fully trained and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. She is a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy), abiding by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, and is enhanced DBS checked. Lisa has 15 years experience of working with all age groups but specialises in children and young people, having started, and managed for 10 years, a charity-funded youth counselling service which successfully went on to secure statutory funding and partnerhship with CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services). Alongside private practice, Lisa continues to provide therapeutic support, clinical supervision, management and consultancy to community services, the NHS, schools and further education establishments. Lisa has also worked as a qualitative researcher, providing valuable insight to a wide range of clients, including the UK government and the NHS in the area of youth psychology. Lisa provides guidance to Sarvamangala Girls who need advice on personal development issues. Lisa has also been instrumental in formulating the Sarvamangala Values and formulating the Sarvamangala Ethical Code of Conduct for volunteers.
Madeleine
Madeleine is a Senior Manager at a global organisation. She manages events with up to 100,000 participants and travels globally. She helps the Sarvamangala Girls Empowerment project with strategic vision and direction, including networks and sustainable management. She has a Master’s Degree and an MBA from a reputed UK University.
Monica
Monica is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean at Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim. Prior to her current role, she was a research scholar at the University of Hyderabad where she completed her PhD in Materials Engineering in 2022. She also worked as a JRF in Sikkim State Council for Science and Technology. During her B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Punjab Technical University, she did internships at Indian Oil Corporation Limited in Panipat and the Indian Institute of Petroleum in Dehradun. For her research, she was awarded the CSIR SRF Fellowship. Recently, she won 3rd position in the popular story writing competition 'AWSAR', organized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. She is keen on working for the environment and providing career guidance to Sarvamangala Girls. Her perspective on the challenges people face in their everyday life is based on her own life experience. She believes in spiritual values. Her journey as a PhD scholar has taught her several things about life and people, and she tries to practice these in her life. As an academician, she always tries to give her best and strives towards the development of her students.
Nutan Joshi
Nutan Joshi and her family are among the key supporters of the Sarvamangala Girls Empowerment project. Through Nutan’s effort, innumerable supporters across the world joined the project. Inspired by her late son, Nutan thus became the impetus for many girls to receive the financial support and the ecosystem of support they need for their development. By profession, Nutan is a Senior Paediatric Ultrasonographer. Nutan’s husband is a professor at King’s College and her daughter is also a supporter of a Sarvamangala Girl.
